In milling applications, the software update includes enhanced gouge checking and containment options for 3D high speed tool paths, improved curve five-axis and swarf five-axis cutting, allowing overlap and faster mill tree-style dialog performance. CNC Software says its Mastercam X5 MU1 maintenance update provides expanded machining flexibility and an increased emphasis on speed and automation.
